From your first enquiry, we will arrange a thorough survey of your property. This enables us to identify how widespread the bed bug activity is and confirm that heat treatment is the most suitable solution. During the visit, we will also explain our preparation guidance so you know exactly how to get your property ready for treatment.
If you decide to move forward, we will book your bed bug heat treatment at a time and date that fits your schedule.
The length of the treatment generally falls between 4 and 12 hours, depending on the size and structure of the property. For safety reasons, access to the property must be restricted until temperatures have reduced to a safe level of 85°F, which our technicians monitor continuously throughout the process.
To allow sufficient time for treatment, cooling, and final checks, we advise staying out of the property for up to 24 hours. You can then return to a clean, fresh, and completely bed bug-free home.
Bed Bug Heat Treatment Preparation
If you choose to go ahead with our bed bug heat treatment or insect control service, we will supply a clear and practical preparation guide to help you get the affected rooms ready before our technicians arrive.
Once a full inspection of the property has been completed, we will arrange a suitable date for the heat treatment to take place. The preparation guide can be followed in advance of the appointment to ensure any belongings that may be affected by high temperatures are removed or protected.
The guide also outlines what happens once the treatment is complete, so you know what to expect and can be confident that each treated area has been thoroughly and successfully dealt with.
